About me
I've been passionate about documenting and creating since I was a little girl running wild in the suburbs of St. Paul. I would steal my parent's film camera and take dozens (okay maybe hundreds) of blurry photos of our dog.
In high school, I spent babysitting money on a polaroid and then finally my beloved point and shoot, which was my favorite accessory for a night out!
I was gifted my first DSLR in my early twenties, and that changed the way I looked at the role photography played in my life. What was always a beloved hobby became my passion, and I've never been happier.
I split my time between Minnesota, Pennsylvania, and everywhere in between. Some of my favorite things are mountains, big burritos, and roller skating. No matter where I am you can usually find me enjoying a local coffee shop or brewery with my partner and our pup, Scully!
More about my approach
I'm inspired by the magic of fleeting moments. Photography gives us the incredible gift of preserving those moments. It's my heartfelt desire to turn those minutes, or seconds, into lifelong memories for my family, friends, and clients.
My approach to capturing events and sessions is a mix of documentary style photography and timeless portraiture. I love catching candids but posing for photos can be fun, I'll show you!
I'm not just there to take your picture. I will happily lend a hand and a laugh when you need it. I'm your hype gal and right hand woman. I'll loan you a bobby pin and give you an excuse to dance in the street. I want you to feel relaxed and enjoy your celebration, my ultimate goal is to create images that show the real you. Your day is incredibly special and I feel lucky to be along for the ride.
