Bonnie Drake has had a camera in her hands since high school, instinctively drawn to capturing the stories unfolding around her. What began as a quiet fascination with documenting life turned into a calling when she photographed her first wedding in 2017. Since then, Bonnie has been dedicated to telling love stories with honesty, artistry, and heart.

Bonnie believes that some of the most meaningful moments in life are often the most fleeting, but photography gives us the rare gift of remembering them forever. Her approach centers on presence over perfection, leaving room for genuine laughter, quiet tenderness, and unscripted joy to unfold naturally. She approaches every wedding as a living narrative - one filled with fleeting beauty. At home in Minneapolis, Bonnie can usually be found hanging out with her sweet & silly two-year-old and her neuroscientist husband. In her free time she loves antiquing and tending to the garden. Motherhood has deepened her appreciation for the passage of time and reinforced her belief in the power of photographs. She feels incredibly grateful to spend her days documenting the beauty of love and stories that last for generations.
